Prabowo In Front Of Flood Victims Promises To Brush People's Money Thieves

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized his commitment to manage state assets in a clean and transparent manner so that the benefits can be felt directly by the community, especially victims of natural disasters.

He conveyed this when he visited residents affected by flash floods and landslides at the Kasai Permai Housing, Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra, Monday, December 1.

"The Indonesian government is a government owned by the people, working for the people, serving the people. We will manage and maintain the wealth of the country so that it can help the people," he said.

Prabowo added that the government will work optimally to ensure that the management of state assets runs clean without leakage. He emphasized his determination to eradicate corrupt practices.

"The important thing is that I have to manage it at the center so that the state's wealth is really for the people, so that there is no leak, there are no thieves who steal people's money," he said.

In front of the refugees, Prabowo also asked for support in efforts to eradicate state money thieves who have been detrimental to the people.

"Do you like it if I brush all the thieves?" asked Prabowo, who was immediately greeted with cheers from the residents.

'Long live Prabowo, Prabowo's life,' shouted residents in the refugee camps.

Prabowo emphasized that the government will attend and will not allow disaster victims to face difficult times alone.

"We are all one big family. We will not let our own brothers and sisters bear the burden of suffering," he said.

During the visit, Prabowo ensured that the central government would intervene to help repair houses damaged by floods and landslides. In addition to housing, the government is also calculating the total damage to important infrastructure such as bridges so that public access can recover quickly.

"The water is being repaired, all the bridges are being calculated. God willing, we will fix everything. We will help the damaged houses that were washed away," he concluded.
