Garuda Group Prepares 94 Fleets And Gives Ticket Discounts Of Up To 14 Percent For Nataru Holidays

JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia group has prepared a total of 94 fleets to ensure the smooth running of public flight services during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) holidays. In addition, Garuda also provides discounted flight tickets of up to 14 percent.

Deputy President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Thomas Sugiarto Oentoro emphasized that all operational readiness was prepared long ago to face Nataru. Starting from the fleet to cabin crew to serve the community.

"We have prepared from Garuda itself, we are ready with 58 fleets, with Citilink 36. That's what we can operate on a 24-hour stand-by basis," he said in a virtual RDP with Commission VI of the DPR, Monday, December 1.

Not only that, but Garuda will also apply a ticket price discount of 13 to 14 percent during the Nataru period to support community mobility and maintain national economic momentum.

"In this period, Nataru is around 13 to 14 percent of the ticket price. So, we will also prepare it," he said.

Previously, Deputy Minister of Transportation Suntana said the government had prepared discounts on transportation transportation, ranging from trains, ships to planes as part of the economic stimulus.

Suntana said the discount for Pelni ships was given at 20 percent, and ticket purchases were opened from December 17 to January 10.

"Then for special economic rail transportation, it is around 30 percent with departure time from December 22 to January 10," he said at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 26.

Then, continued Suntana, for flight transportation, discounts were given at approximately 13 to 14 percent with ticket purchases from 22 December 2025 to 10 January 2026.

"Likewise, ASDP crossings will also get discounts from December 22 to January 10," he said.
