Megawati Enters The Women's Volleyball Squad For The 2025 SEA Games

JAKARTA Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi is included in the Indonesian Women's Volleyball squad for the 2025 SEA Games this month which will take place in Thailand.

The All-Indonesian Volleyball Association (PBVSI) has officially released a list of squads that will play in the biennial multi-branch event. A total of 14 players are on the list.

Megawati is back in the team to be sent after being absent from several tournaments. The Volleyball player from Jember is on the list with names such as Mediol Stivany Yoku, Syelomitha Afrilauza Wongkar, and Yolana Bheta Pangestika.

In addition, the Indonesian Women's Volleyball National Team is also inhabited by young players who previously appeared in the 2025 U-21 Women's Volleyball World Cup, namely Ajeng Nur Cahaya, Pascalina Mahuze, Chelsa Berliana, Namira Ramadhanti, and Indah Guretto.

However, Junaida Santi was not taken to a sporting event involving these Southeast Asian countries. This 18-year-old player is one of the stars in the U-21 Volleyball World Cup.

Marcos Sugiyama's squad will fight in Thailand on December 10-19 2025. They inhabit Pool B along with Vietnam, Myanmar, and Malaysia.

Megawati and colleagues will start their fight against Malaysia on December 10, 2025. Two days in a row after that, they were challenged by Myanmar and Vietnam.
