Pramono Make Sure To Attend 212 Reunion Tomorrow At Monas

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung confirmed that he would attend the 212 Reunion which will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in the National Monument (Monas) area. Pramono had previously received an invitation from the committee.

"I plan to have an invitation 212 attended," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, Monday, December 1.

Pramono claims that he does not choose which activities he will attend during the event are held with a positive and without any provocations that corner certain parties. Pramono emphasized that principle, he held while serving as Governor of DKI.

"I am the Governor of all. All invitations are useful to the public, whoever invites, I am present," said Pramono.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno also admitted that he would attend the 212 Reunion tomorrow. Rano will come if he does not have a work agenda that is scheduled at the same time.

"God willing, we will be invited, we will come," said Rano at Pullman Jakarta Central Park, West Jakarta, Tuesday, November 25.

Reunion 212 is an annual activity that began with the December 2, 2016 Action, to be precise a major demonstration at Monas regarding the demand for a blasphemy case against former DKI Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama. Since 2017, this activity has been regularly held in a prayer format and declaration from a number of figures.

The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has also prepared traffic engineering and parking bags in the plan for the 212 Reunion which will take place in the Monas area on December 2, 2025.

The 212 Reunion activity was reported through a notification, the plan was to take place from 18.00 WIB until the evening. However, mass mobilization is expected to start in the afternoon.

Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Komaruddin said that his party predicts the density of vehicle flows on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Timur, North, and South, especially in the afternoon which coincides with office hours.

"We urge people who are active in Jakarta to avoid these sections," he told the media at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday, December 2, 2025.

The flow diversion will be carried out situationally. If mass mobilization is large enough, the diversion will be enforced earlier. On the other hand, however, if field conditions are still possible, the route remains open to the general public.

"Given the implementation of the afternoon, of course at the same time as the office's return time, this also needs to be anticipated," he said.
