Honda StepWGN On E: HEV Launches In Thailand, Price Touches IDR 800 Million

JAKARTA - After Indonesia and Singapore, Honda StepWGN has now landed in Thailand with its debut at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2025 exhibition.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Monday, December 1, the MPV targeting the family market is sold as a full import model (CBU) from Japan and is currently estimated to be priced from at least 1.7 million baht or around Rp. 885 million. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the Honda StepWGN is priced cheaper at Rp. 629 million.

In Thailand, Honda presents StepWGN in the Spada variant with a hybrid powertrain. This system is a system e: HEV based on a 2.0 liter naturally assisted inline-four gasoline engine compatible with gasohol standards, generating 145 PS (143 hp or 107 kW) and 175 Nm torque.

This machine mainly functions as a generator for batteries that power the main traction motor at the front with a power of 184 PS (181 hp or 135 kW) and a torque of 315 Nm. At higher speeds, this Atkinson cycle engine can be connected via E-CVT to drive the front wheels directly.

This configuration is claimed to be able to produce fuel consumption of 18.5 km per liter, and has a five-year budget or unlimited travel distance. The hybrid battery has a 10-year budget with an unlimited distance (which was achieved earlier).

In terms of equipment, StepWGN with a compact appearance comes with a black interior, a combination seat for skin and cloth, a second row captain seat with footwear, a third row seat that can be folded 60:40, an electric sliding door and a back door, a three-zone temperature controller, a digital instrument cluster screen, and a ADAS Honda Sensing circuit.

There are various interesting color choices such as Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Twilight Mist Black Pearl and Crystal Black Pearl, as well as Platinum White Pearl.
