Shakira Is Touched By Dua Lipa Whose Song Cover When Appearing In Colombia

JAKARTA - Shakira gave a warm response to the surprise presented by British singer Dua Lipa at her concert in Bogot menghadirkan, Colombia, while performing a cover of the song "Antologist

As is known, Dua Lipa is on a Radical Optimism tour to celebrate her third studio album of the same name.

In the midst of his performance in Colombia, Lipa gave the audience a special surprise by singing the classic song Shakira which was released in 1995.

This action has become a tradition in the Lipa tour, where he will pay special tribute to the local music icon in the city where he performed.

Immediately after the show, Shakira through her personal Instagram account, praised Dua Lipa's appearance. He shared a video clip of the appearance and wrote a touching message.

"I was very moved to hear my song in the voice Two, in the same city where I wrote it many years ago," Shakira wrote, citing an upload caption, Monday, December 1.

Then Shakira continued her reflection on the universal power of music.

"Look at us how music unites us? A girl from London and another from Barranquilla!" he added.

The action of singing songs from local musicians in certain cities is not the first time Dua Lipa has done it. Previously, he covered a long list of musicians whose songs included Ariana Grande in Miami, Aerosmith in Boston, Sinead O'Connor in Dublin, Daft Punk in Lyon, Lorde in New Zealand, and many more.

Not only that, Lipa also often invites a number of big stars to perform their songs together on stage.

To date, stars who have joined include Billie Joe Armstrong for the song Wake Me Up When September Ends in San Francisco, Gwen Stefani for Don't Speak in Los Angeles, Nile Rodgers for Le happened in New York City, Chaka Khan for Ain t Nobody in Chicago, Jamiloquai for Virtual Insanity in London, Neil Finn for Don't Dream It's Over in Auckland, and Kevin Parker for The Less I Know The Better in Sydney.

In this series of tours, Dua Lipa also held two shows at Wembley which were later immortalized in a mini-documenter entitled Dua Lipa The Beat Before (Wembley Stadium).

The Radical Optimism tour itself will end with three shows at the Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City, which are scheduled to take place from December 1 to 5.
