Aceh Basarnas Focuses On Handling Residents Trapped In Floods Can't Be Accessed By Land
The National SAR Agency (Basarnas) team stated that they are focused on reaching people who are still trapped in floods in several areas in Aceh Province.
Head of Banda Aceh Basarnas Ibnu Harris Al Hussain said the Aceh disaster continued SAR operation with a priority scale on isolated locations or areas that could not be accessed by land route.
"The SAR team continues to try to reach people who are still trapped in floods or areas that cannot be accessed by land to be evacuated to safer locations," said Ibnu Harris Al Hussain in Banda Aceh, Monday, as quoted by Antara.
He said that as of Sunday, November 30, the SAR team had evacuated 1,112 flood victims in Aceh Province. Of the 1,112 people, 1,066 of them were evacuated safely.
Then, as many as 100 people were evacuated dead and nine people were declared missing and are still being searched.
Throughout Sunday, November 30, the SAR team conducted search and rescue operations in 12 flood-affected city districts in Aceh Province. The area of operation includes Pidie Regency.

Next, seven people were evacuated in Pidie Jaya Regency, consisting of six survivors and one died. In Bireuen Regency, seven people were also evacuated, consisting of six survivors and one died.
Then, 44 flood victims were evacuated in North Aceh Regency. Meanwhile, 29 people were evacuated in Bener Meriah Regency in a state of death.
Furthermore, the evacuation in Southeast Aceh Regency was four people, consisting of three people who were evacuated safely and one person died.
Meanwhile, SAR operations in the areas of West Aceh Regency and Nagan Raya Regency are still constrained by cut off access. The SAR team helps distribute logistics using ropes to disaster locations.
"Meanwhile, SAR operations in Lhokseumawe City, Langsa City, Aceh Tamiang Regency, and Central Aceh Regency, the data has not yet been entered," said Ibnu Harris Al Hussain.
