Floods Hit Sumatra, Chery Prepares Free Emergency Services And Diskon Parts Of The Cadang

JAKARTA - The high intensity of rain that has flushed the island of Sumatra in recent days, has triggered major flooding in a number of areas in West Sumatra, North Sumatra, and the Special Region of Aceh.

Responding to the above, PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) presents a special program, namely 'Chery Flood Care' initiated by Chery Family Care. This program is designed to provide convenience for the Company Family through various additional services that are focused on helping ease the burden on consumers who need vehicle repairs due to floods and landslides.

Head of Brand & Marketing Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan, expressed his concern over the current conditions in various parts of Indonesia. Chery Flood Care is part of Chery's commitment and efforts to prioritize services that focus on customers in any situation.

"We want to provide support with all the efforts we can make, ensuring that consumers are considered more than just vehicle services through real concern for daily life to unexpected times," he said, in an official statement received on Monday, December 1.

The Chery Flood Care program is effective from December 1, 2025 to January 30, 2026. The focus of this program is to provide peace of mind through emergency assistance services which are expected to be able to accelerate the evacuation process and technical handling, so that the mobility of the Chery Family can recover soon.

Meanwhile, Chery provides free towing facilities to the nearest official workshop that can be accessed by all Chery car owners throughout Indonesia who are affected by the floods and landslides of Sumatra.

In addition to emergency assistance, for the Chery Family whose vehicles are affected by flooding, they can take advantage of a 50 percent discount for all components (equivalent parts) with a maximum cut of up to IDR 5 million and a 10 percent discount on repair services.

This incentive is designed to ease the cost of repairs and speed up the vehicle recovery process, allowing the Chery family to return to their activities more quickly after the floods and landslides.
