A Total Of 2,188 Young Athletes Appear At The MilkLife Athletics Challenge Series 2

JAKARTA A total of 2,188 young athletes took part in the MilkLife Athletics Challenge Series 2 2025 organized by the Djarum Foundation Sports Service and MilkLife in collaboration with the All-Indonesian Athletics Association (PASI) of Kudus Regency.

The students came from 184 madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI), elementary school (SD), madrasah tsanawiyah (MTs), junior high school (SMP), and high school (SMA) from Kudus and its surroundings. This event took place at the Supersoccer Arena, Rendeng, Kudus.

Djarum Foundation's Director of Sports Service, Yoppy Rosimin, said that the holding of the MilkLife Athletics Challenge aims to provide a fun competition experience as well as introduce basic athletic movements from an early age.

"We designed the MilkLife Athletics Challenge competition so that students at various levels of education can feel the joy of competing in athletics, especially athletics is a mother of sport that is easy to train and learn," said Yoppy.

There is an addition of one age category (KU) and seven race numbers in the MilkLife Athletics Challenge Series 2 2025. This is different from the previous series in June 2025.

In this latest event, there are four live divisions (KU-10, KU-12, KU-15, and KU-18) as well as 22 contested numbers, namely 60 meters running, 80 meters running, 100 meters running, 400 meters running, 1,000 meters running, 1,500 meters running, 3,000 meters running, 5 x 80 meters relay running, 8 x 50 meters mixed relay running, 4 x 100 meters relay running, 4 x 400 meters relay running, 2,000 meters fast road, 3,000 meters fast road, 3.000 meters team cangah's escape, 1st Formula team, frog jump, turbo throw, bullet put, long jump, Lembing throw, disc throw, and triple jump.

Head of the Development and Achievement Division of PASI Kudus Regency, Noor Akhmad, said that this athletic competition was one of the strategic steps in the process of regenerating and fostering athletes from an early age.

"MilkLife Athletics Challenge provides space for Kudus athletes to have a platform to compete as part of sustainable coaching starting from the elementary / mI, junior high / high school to high school levels," said Noor.

One of the athletes from Kudus who took part in the MilkLife Athletics Challenge Series 2 2025 was Irgi Candra Pranata, a class XII student at SMAN 2 Bae Kudus. He performed brilliantly and won two championship trophies when he went down in the 100 meters, 400 meters, and 4 x 400 meters relay.

His best record was achieved at 400 meters with a time of 50.57 seconds and a 100 meter run with a time of 11.18 seconds. Irgi also recorded good achievements in a number of prestigious events, including the first winner of the 4 x 400 meter relay in Popnas 2025 in early November.

"In this championship, I measure my ability and as one of the preparations for Porprov later because I have a target to be able to enter PON and contribute to Central Java province," he said.

Overall, the SMA NU Al Ma'ruf team who won the overall KU-18 title by packing eight gold six silver and four bronze. The team, which was fostered by Miqdam Maulana, fell with the strength of 18 athletes.

"We want to see the potential of our students as well as prepare for the next event. Thank God athletics is one of the leading extracurricular at our school, which has quite a lot of interest."
