More Than 14 Thousand Residents Affected By Flash Floods In Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh

JAKARTA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province noted that at least 14,537 people in the area were affected by flash floods that occurred from Wednesday to Thursday, November 26 and 27 yesterday.

"The number of victims of flash floods and floods in Nagan Raya has reached tens of thousands, currently we are continuing to make data collection on people affected by natural disasters," said Head of BPBD Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh, Irfanda Rinaldi, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, November 30.

The distribution of flood victims in Nagan Raya, Aceh includes Beutong Ateuh Banggalang District consisting of Gampong Blang Puuk (250 KK/755 Jiwa), Gampong Blang Meurandeh (141 KK/428 Jiwa), Gampong Babah Suak) 143 KK/429 Jiwa), Gampong Kuta Teungoh (180 KK/54 Jiwa).

Districts of Darul Makmur Gampong Ujong Lamie (517 KK / 1553 Jiwa), Gampong Lamie (778 KK / 2,335 Jiwa), Gampong Kuta Trieng (523 KK / 1,571 Jiwa), Gampong Geulanggang Gajah (194 KK / 584 Jiwa), Gampong Kaye Unoe (125 KK / 377 Jiwa), Gampong Tuwi Buya (180 KK / 54 Jiwa).

Kemudian di Gampong Suak Palembang (361 KK/1.083 Jiwa), Gampong Alue Wakie (834 KK/2.504 Jiwa), Gampong Gunong Cut (475 KK/1.427 Jiwa.

In Tripa Makmur District covering Panton Pange Village (136 KK/560 Jiwa), Ujong Krueng 137 KK/453 Jiwa), Mon Dua (155 KK/492 Jiwa), Neubok Yee PP (153 KK/469 Jiwa), Neubok Yee PK (137 KK/450 Jiwa), Pasie Kebeu Dom (289 KK/747 Jiwa), Lueng Keubeu Jagat (483 KK/1,590 Jiwa), Drien Tujoh (329 KK/1,052 Jiwa), Babah Lueng (302 KK/1,003 Jiwa, Kabu (386 KK/1,258 Jiwa), Kuala Tripa (399 KK/1,451 Jiwa).

In Tadu Raya District covering Cot Mee Village (397 KK/956 Jiwa), Cot Mue (145 KK/595 Jiwa) and Alue Siron Village (109 KK/398 Jiwa).

Irfanda Rinaldi said that currently the Nagan Raya Regency Government, Aceh also continues to distribute panic assistance to people affected by the flash flood disaster in four sub-districts.

"We are still distributing food aid to date," said Irfanda Rinaldi.
