JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) supply 8000 liters of Dexlite fuel oil (BBM) to support the operation of heavy disaster management equipment in the Tapanuli and Sibolga areas.

"This fuel supply is expected to help restore community activities, facilitate the distribution of logistical assistance and distribution of fuel and LPG," said Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw in his statement, Sunday, November 30.

He explained that fuel was supplied using jerry cans and sent to locations affected by landslides, especially on the Jalan lintas of North Tapanuli Regency - Central Tapanuli - South Tapanuli - Sibolga, the area that is the main route connecting community activities and logistics distribution in the area.

He added that the operation of heavy equipment or excavators is expected to clean the piles of landslides that block road access, so that roads can be passed again.
