Joint Team Secures COVID-19-Indicated Pasutri Who Escaped With Avanza At Cikampek Toll Road
JAKARTA - Officers of the Jakarta Metro Jaya Police Department and Subang West Java Police secured a married couple with the initials SP and HW who fled after being found to have positive indications of COVID-19 based on the results of antigen swab tests.
Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo explained that initially SP and HW traveled from Subang to Jakarta across KM 34 B of Cikampek-Jakarta Toll Road on Sunday, May 23 at around 4:30 p.m.
"When crossing the Integrated Post KM 34B was exposed to random antigen tests with positively indicated results of COVID-19," Sambodo was quoted as saying by Antara, Monday, May 24.
Sambodo revealed the couple fled in a white Avanza car when they were evacuated by health experts to a temporary isolation room.
"Security personnel were ordered to search the car but its whereabouts are unknown," Sambodo said.
Furthermore, officers traced the vehicle data used by the couple known to the owner's name, namely HW addressed in Makasar District Makasar, East Jakarta.
The Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya requested the assistance of the Police and Task Force handling COVID-19 Makasar to visit the sp and HW residences but the two have not lived at the address since five years ago.
Officers are investigating the whereabouts of SP and HW who are known to live in the boarding house of Bambu Apus area, East Jakarta.
The leadership team of Kasubdit Bin Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Fahri Siregar and task force handling COVID-19 Makasar visited kostan SP in Bambu Apus, but both had left the boarding house at 19.00 WIB.
As a result of the follow-up investigation, Sambodo said SP and HW headed to his residence in Subang, West Java.
Officers of the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya asked subang police for help to trace the whereabouts of SP and HW.
As a result, police officers and subang's COVID-19 Handling Task Force visited SP's residence and examined antigen swab tests on both on Monday afternoon.
"Subang's COVID-19 Handling Task Force took the two to an isolation location at ciasem Tengah Subang Village Office," sambodo said.
