This value is recorded from the results between domestic and foreign investors and business actors.

Plt. Director General of Strengthening Competitiveness for Marine and Fishery Products (PDSPKP), Machmud, said KKP offered 36 projects with a total value of IDR 3.02 trillion in the forum. These projects include the construction of a tuna, shrimp, and cold chain logistics processing industry in Cilacap Regency; construction of an industrial salt factory in Jeneponto; fishery processing facilities and a cold chain logistics center in the Bolok Industrial Estate, NTT; as well as a nori-based seaweed processing plant in West Java.

"We facilitate business actors for one on one meeting, and thank God we have netted investment and partnership interests worth IDR 1.6 trillion, about 50 percent of the potential investment offered in the forum," said Machmud in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday.

Machmud emphasized that the KKP is preparing superior programs to support Asta Cita Presiden Prabowo, especially in realizing food self-sufficiency and economic independence through a blue economy policy. According to him, the blue economy is an important pillar for the sustainability of fishery resources and business strengthening.

After the activity, Machmud asked his staff to provide assistance for business actors who are interested in investing, so that the investment target for the marine and fisheries sector in 2025 of IDR 13.11 trillion can be achieved. He also instructed that coordination with local governments be strengthened in investment plan locations.

Machmud hopes that the forum can accelerate investment realization and strengthen the contribution of the marine and fisheries sector to national economic growth. He ensured that the government provided support in the form of ease of licensing, incentives, security guarantees and political stability, connectivity, and provision of skilled workers. This support was strengthened through the issuance of Government Regulation Number 28 of 2025 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing.

"The government is committed to providing convenience. Therefore, we invite business actors to be part of the development of the marine and fisheries sector by investing," he said.
