511 Yonif Task Force Soldiers Visit Churches In Kanggime Strengthen Social Commission

WAMENA - TNI soldiers from the Task Force (Satgas) Infantry Battalion 511/DY visited residents' houses and churches in Kanggime District, Tolikara Regency, Papua Mountains to strengthen social communication or social assistance in the assignment area.

Deputy Commander of the 511/DY Yonif Task Force, Pos Kanggime, Lt. Inf. Arief Reskianto, in a statement in Wamena, Saturday said that his party continues to increase the social security program with residents in the assignment area, especially in Kanggime District, Tolikara Regency, Papua Mountains.

"The soldiers visited the houses of residents and surrounding churches, had a heart-to-heart dialogue, and shared gifts as a symbol of concern," he said.

According to him, the Komsos activity was not just a visit but a tangible manifestation of a harmonious partnership, namely the presence of the TNI as a friend and protector of the community.

"This activity will continue in order to strengthen the ties of brotherhood and listen to the aspirations of the residents," he said.

He explained that in assignments in the Papua region, the main thing that was emphasized was the social approach so as to create a good and harmonious relationship between the TNI and the people.

"We hope that the presence of the TNI can be well received by Papuans so that the tasks given can run optimally," he said.

Meanwhile, one of the local community leaders, Miss Peiet, expressed her gratitude for the attention and protection given, while hoping that God would always bless the TNI in its duties.
