Muhtesem Endonezya Cultural Stage Successfully Enlivens Turkey's Sakarya

JAKARTA - Indonesian students and students who are currently studying in Sakarya, Turkey successfully held a cultural performance entitled "Muhtesem Endonezya" at the Sakarya University Hall, Friday, featuring Indonesian dances and culture.

"Muhte04m Endonezya" is taken from Turkish which means "Extraordinary Indonesia", so it is interpreted as "extraordinary Indonesian culture".

This year's event is the fourth time on a regular basis which is held every two years by PPI Sakarya, PPI Turkey, and other elements of Indonesian society in Sakarya, including Indonesian citizens who are married to Turkish citizens.

"Muhte04m Endonezya is not just an entertainment stage. This is a cultural stage, the Indonesian Identity stage, the creative stage of Indonesian youth," said the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Turkey Achmad Rizal Purnama in his remarks, launching a statement from the Indonesian Embassy in Ankara, Saturday (29/11).

This year's Muhte backem Endonezya will be attended by more than 500 visitors from various levels of society, including the Deputy Chancellor of the University of Sawarya Professor K\"oseoeklu, officials from the province of Sakarya and representatives from President University.

This year, students performed various dances including Saman Dance, Fan Flower Dance, Gandrungjer Dance, Kecak Dance, and silat performances packaged in a drama performance with the main character named "Arsa".

"Muhteyan Endonezya is the night of dreams and dreams. Indonesia and Turkey have the same value of struggle. Indonesia and Turkey share the same dream. The aspiration to become a great country of dreams to become a developed country. Aspirations to see a better world, a safer world, a fairer world and a more prosperous world. Aspiration to see an independent Palestinian nation," explained Ambassador Rizal.

As a series of "Muhteprim Endonezya", PPI Sakarya also held training on making batik combined with pattern-making training with a typical Turkish technique called "Ebru" on November 25, 2025.

The "Batik x Ebru" training also features traditional dances typical of Indonesia and Turkey.
