Cumulonimbus clouds (dark clouds such as cauliflowers) also need to be watched out for because they have the potential to significantly increase wave height and wind direction.

He reminded fishing boat users to be careful if the wind speed reaches 15 knots and wave height of 1.25 meters. The operator of the barge is also asked to be vigilant if the wind speed is 16 knots and the wave height is up to 1.5 meters.

Yandri hopes that the public and stakeholders will continue to follow the official and up-to-date information from the BMKG for shipping safety.
