Millennials Freedom Support Slamet Junaidi For The 2029 East Java Governor Election

JAKARTA - Millennials Freedom officially launched its political engine. In a meeting of 60 youth across districts in Tebet, South Jakarta, Friday (28/11/2025), the youth organization unanimously voted for the Regent of Sampang Madura, H. Slamet Junaidi (ADI) as the most worthy figure to lead East Java in the 2029 gubernatorial election. Although the new gubernatorial election will take place in 2029, political machines can be seen starting to move faster than usual.

Chairman of the Millennials Freedom Board of Trustees, Hurry Rauf, emphasized that the decision was taken after dissecting various criteria for prospective leaders. "We agreed to entrust him to Abah IDI. He is most worthy of being the Governor of East Java," he said.

Hurry assessed that Abah IDI has a strong track record: executive experience, managerial capacity, and proven integrity. His achievements, said Hurry, speak for himself: Unqualified Opinions (WTP) seven times in a row, PWI awards as development figures, to the 2025 Top BUMD Awards.

For young people, Abah IDI is considered a populist figure. "He is close to all groups of young people, students, kiai, to habaib," said Hurry.

Therefore, Millennials Freedom consolidates the network to appoint Abah IDI as a strong candidate. Campaigns are carried out in the field and social media such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
