Pertamina Calls Fuel Distribution For 26 Gas Stations In Aceh Hampered By Floods

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga, North Sumatra (Sumbagut) said 26 public refueling stations (SPBU) were affected by flooding, due to obstacles to road access and the mobility of the fuel and LPG distribution fleet.

"This erratic weather condition causes obstacles to road access and the mobility of the fuel and LPG distribution fleets," said Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Sumbagut Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw as reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 28.

In addition to 26 gas stations, he said, there were 94 LPG Agents, and 9 Elpiji Bulk Filling Stations (SPBE) which were affected by the cut off access to the location.

His party continues to monitor the stock of fuel and LPG in distribution institutions, which are still carried out intensively.

He said that until November 27, 2025 at 21.00 WIB, there were 1,548 kiloters of gasoline, 658 kiloliters of gasoil, and 447,517 metric tons of LPG spread across various distribution points.

"Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut continues to strengthen various measures to restore energy distribution in Aceh Province after extreme rains, strong winds, and landslides that hit a number of areas in the last few days," he said again.

He said that a number of districts/cities that were most severely affected were priority handling, including Pidie Jaya, Bener Meriah, Central Aceh, Gayo Lues, South Aceh, Aceh Tamiang, Bireuen, North Aceh, Lhokseumawe, East Aceh, Langsa, Subulussalam, Aceh Singkil, Nagan Raya, and Southwest Aceh.

A significant impact also occurred on the LPG supply line, especially the Arun LPG Terminal route to Aceh SPBE which was cut off in Pidie Jaya, as well as access from the Susu Base to Southeast Aceh which was still cannot be passed.

On the operational side, various steps such as adjusting supply patterns, rerouting from the nearest terminal, as well as preparing tank cars, tank skids, and field telecommunications equipment continue to be carried out as part of recovery efforts.

Pertamina ensures that every mitigation step still prioritizes personnel safety and operational security.
