For One Month There Are No New Cases Of COVID-19 In Sangihe Sulut
MANADO - Spokesperson of the COVID-19 Task Force of Sangihe Islands Regency of North Sulawesi, Jopy Thungari said that during this month there were no new cases of COVID-19 in Sangihe.
"For the last 34 days, no Sangihe community has been exposed to COVID-19," Jopy Thungari said in Tahuna quoted by Antara, Monday, May 24.
According to him, the last case occurred on April 21, one citizen contracted COVID-19 so that it was recorded as patient 312 and as many as 303 patients or 97.11 percent have been declared cured.
"Of the 312 positive cases of COVID-19 in Sangihe, 97.11 percent or 303 were cured," he said.
Jopy said there were nine patients or 2.89 percent or eight cases who died and were buried according to COVID-19 protocol.
The task force expects all communities in Sangihe Regency to adhere to health protocols when doing activities outside the home.
"Follow health protocols when doing activities outside the home to avoid COVID-19 because there are still cases in Sangihe," jopy said.
The vaccine program against the community said he also needs to get the public's attention so that no one refuses to be in the vaccine.
"Until now, there are still vaccine injection activities for the community. Hopefully no one refuses to be vaccinated," he added.
