Charly Van Houten Shakes Tana Tidung At The Closing Of The 2025 Creative Dance Festival
TANA TIDUNG's appearance of Charly Van Houten became the peak of entertainment at the closing of the 2025 Coastal and Deepest Kalimantan Creative Dance Festival in the Green Open Space (RTH) H. Joesoef Abdullah, Tideng Pale, Thursday, November 27.
Thousands of residents crowded the arena to witness the stage action of the former Setia Band vocalist.
Charly appeared after Tana Tidung Regent Ibrahim Ali officially closed the festival which had been held since November 21.
Charly, who appeared for almost an hour, performed several hit songs such as Isabella, Asmara, Biar Aku Jatuh Cinta, hingga Cari Boyfriend Lagi, Penonton langsung carried away the atmosphere, ikut beryanyi dan bergoyang sejak lagu pertama dimainkan.
Charly's interaction with the community made the atmosphere even more lively. Every invitation to sing together was greeted by boisterous spectators from various ages who filled the green open space area.
The excitement peaked when the fireworks party closed a series of festivals. Langit Tideng Pale was filled with colorful lights as a sign of the end of the 2025 Creative Dance Festival.
Charly's appearance also closed the biggest cultural activity in North Kalimantan this year, which for a week has shown the creativity of coastal and inland artists and attracts thousands of visitors from various regions.
Regent Tana Tidung emphasized that art activities like this are important to strengthen the character of regional culture.
This 'Festival' is not just entertainment. This is a creative space that shows the cultural power of our society," said Ibrahim Ali.
He also said that the community's great participation was proof that art activities still found a place in Tana Tidung.
"The enthusiasm of the citizens shows that culture is always alive and we must continue to care for it," said Regent Ibrahim.
He added, in the midst of budget efficiency, the Tana Tidung Regency Government ensures that cultural programs continue. Moreover, the cultural sector has an important role in tourism development and the creative economy.
"Government is a pillar of development. The impact is real for the welfare of the community," he said.
