7 Subsidiaries Of Upstream Pertamina Dominate National Oil And Gas Production
PT Pertamina (Persero) reports that seven of its upstream subsidiaries are included in the list of the 10 largest oil-producing companies in Indonesia released by the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas).
Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero) Muhammad Baron said that the oil and gas business remains a mainstay in strengthening national energy security so that Pertamina continues to innovate and improvise to improve upstream oil and gas performance.
In the midst of global parameter pressure and decreasing natural oil and gas production rate (declining natural rate), Pertamina recorded oil and gas production of 1,032 million barrels equivalent to oil, until October 2025.
"On the operational side, oil and gas production is maintained above 1 million barrels of oil equivalent. This of course shows Pertamina's commitment to maintaining energy resilience and giving Indonesia the best value towards Indonesia Gold 2045," said Baron, Friday, November 28.

Nationally, Pertamina manages 24 percent of oil and gas blocks that contribute to oil production by 69 percent and gas by 37 percent of total national production.
