Nina Kurnia Dewi Encourages New IPB Graduates To Have A Strong Analysis Spirit And Take Advantage Of Networks

BOGOR - Chairman of the Alumni Association IPB Pekalongan as well as Director of Finance and Risk Management of LKBN ANTARA, Nina Kurnia Dewi, gave a message of motivation in her speech at the IPB Graduation event at the Dramaga Campus, Bogor, Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

In front of hundreds of graduates and graduates, Nina emphasized three great focuses of service: alma mater, alumni, and society or nation and state.

Nina emphasized that graduates are now entering a wider world, both in the world of work and in service.

"The knowledge is very wide, whether it's from YouTube or offline, everything can be a new spirit. Congratulations to the scholars and doctors," said Nina.

He added that IPB graduates are used to being trained through practicum, so they have strong analysis skills.

"IPB is the best in making matrices or tables. We are used to summarizing corporate problems and making them in the form of tables," he explained.

2. Women Are Not Prepared For Red Carpet, But Instead Superior In Work

In her speech, Nina highlighted her experience as a woman who has a career in BUMN. She emphasized that the success of women is not something that is given, but is achieved through hard work.

I learned a lot at BUMN. The woman was not made a red carpet. But usually women excel at work," he said.

He encouraged graduates to dare to pursue careers and businesses because multitasking skills are women's natural advantages.

"Women can be teachers, can be multitasking. That's the capital for success, in careers and in families," he added.

3. Prepare Supporting System, Because Women's Careers Need A Strong Environment

Nina reminded that mental and environmental readiness greatly determines the career journey of a woman.

Women are easy to accept by the company. So prepare a support system. Couples are needed for the progress of women in their careers," he said.

He also reminded the importance of personal discipline as capital to become a leader, including in large companies and SOEs.

"So the leader is not a red carpet. We need to look at ourselves: are we disciplined?" he said.

4. IPB Alumni Have A Strong Network, Take Advantage Of Growing

Nina also explained how widely the IPB alumni network can be utilized by new graduates.

"We have 34 DPD HA IPB at the provincial level, 210 DPD at the district level, to the international community. There are also the IPB Care Foundation and five autonomous bodies. You can all approach everything," he explained.

He emphasized that the IPB Alumni Association continues to strengthen three pillars: regeneration, social and business, including in consolidating the potential of alumni' businesses.
