B05 Leapmotor Officially Listed On China With Global Market Destinations For IDR 200 Million

JAKARTA - Leapmotor officially launched its B05 compact electric hatchback or known as Lafa 5 in its home country China. This model comes within five trim levels to meet various budgets and driving needs.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Friday, November 28, the cheapest price for the model is priced from 97,800 yuan or around Rp229 million, while the highest touched 121,800 yuan or Rp286 million.

B05 is built on the LEAP 3.5 platform and has a length of 4,430 mm, a width of 1,880 mm, and a height of 1,520 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. This car is equipped with an electric motor mounted on the back, available in two power choices, 132 kW or 160 kW, and is paired with a 56.2 kWh or 67.1 kWh battery.

This power is equivalent to CLTC coverage of 515 km or 605 km. The top trim is equipped with a LiDAR unit mounted on the roof, combined with a 200 TOPS computing platform supported by 27 sensors.

The exterior elements designed for young audiences include frameless doors, hidden door handles, closed front designs, and fastback roof lines. Color choices include Electric Yellow, Starsky Blue, and Morgan Pink.

Its interior includes an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch 2.5K.6-inch central touch screen running the 4.0 Plus OS Leapmotor with Snapdragon-based cabin processor. Depending on the selected version, its features may include a ventilated and heating chair, a panoramic roof, 256-color ambient lighting, wireless charging in the middle console.
