WIKA Gedung Targets Rp3 Trillion in New Contracts Next Year, Targeting Government Projects

JAKARTA - Challenging economic conditions have not dampened the optimism of PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung Tbk (WEGE).

The subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) remains aiming for a high target for new contracts in 2026.

WEGE is targeting a new contract value of IDR 3 trillion. This was stated by WEGE's Director of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Marketing, Tomo Dwi Hasputro, at the 2025 Public Expose (Pubex) held online on Friday, November 28.

Tomo stated that the company has set project targets for next year.

"To secure next year, we have several target projects. We are targeting IDR 3 trillion in new contracts next year," Tomo said.

This target is not without calculation. WEGE will continue to focus on its core strength in the construction sector. Government projects funded by the state budget remain a primary target.

In addition, projects from state-owned enterprises and the private sector are also being targeted.

Tomo detailed the target market portions the company will work on.

"Because we're in construction, we're still in the construction business. Furthermore, we're targeting a larger portion of the state budget, and in the state-owned enterprise (SOE) cluster, we're also targeting approximately 5 to 10 percent in the private sector," he said.

WEGE isn't just relying on conventional tenders; it's preparing a special strategy.

The company intends to become a project integrator by partnering with investors.

"We're not just participating in conventional tenders. So, one of our strategies is to diversify. This means that as part of WEGE's transformation, we will act as an integrator. One way is by creating projects in collaboration with selected partners to create new projects," he explained.

WeGE has an order book of IDR 4.16 trillion through the third quarter of 2025, or the end of September.

In detail, the order book consists of existing contracts totaling IDR 4 trillion and new contracts totaling only IDR 116 billion.

The largest number of contract providers still come from the government, namely 47 percent, followed by state-owned enterprises with a portion of 33 percent and the private sector with 20 percent.
