Pertamina Trans Continental And PMT Inaugurate Green Chocolate Strategic Cooperation In Dumai

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) and PT Pelindo Multi Terminal (PMT) officially signed a strategic partnership for the transfer and loading of Green Chocolate products from Refinery Unit II Dumai.

This SOE synergy strengthens cargoing and stevedoring activities as an important component in the national energy distribution chain, while ensuring that the Green Chocolate distribution process runs faster, safer, efficient, and stable. This agreement is also a further step in strengthening Indonesia's energy logistics ecosystem, in particular to support the smooth supply of domestic and export potential.

General Manager of MBOR I PTK, Era Wijaya said, the cooperation between PTK and PMT has a significant value because it supports the smooth distribution flow of Green Chocolate at Dumai Port as a strategic energy relationship to reduce the potential for bottlenecks in port areas.

"This collaboration is a strategic step to ensure that the Green Chocolate transfer and loading services run more efficiently, safely, and sustainably," he said, Friday, November 28.

Director of Operations of PTK, Yudi Wibisono, added that this collaboration is a momentum to accelerate energy logistics transformation.

This strategic cooperation increases operational reliability, logistics visibility, and cross-process HSSE standards. With the integration of the PTK and PMT service systems, the distribution of Green Chocolate from RU II Dumai can run more efficiently, safely, and internationally standard. This synergy also strengthens national energy resilience," he said.

Dumai PMT Branch Manager, Teddi Fadillah, also emphasized the long-term impact of this synergy. He assessed that the collaboration between PMT and PTK provides strategic value for improving the capability of Dumai Port in handling energy commodities professionally and on time.

"With the integration of stronger cargoing and stevedoring processes, we ensure speed, accuracy, and security of loading and unloading activities to support the effectiveness of the national energy supply chain," he said.

This activity is projected to increase Dumai Port capacity as a regional energy distribution center, create more optimal logistics cost efficiency, and open up opportunities to increase the export volume of Green Chocolate, and provide multiplier effects for the community through job creation, strengthening the supporting industry, and utilizing national infrastructure to the fullest.
