JAKARTA - PT PGN Tbk (PGAS) deployed the 2025 Christmas and New Year's Task Force (Nataru) which is ready to maintain the safety and reliability of natural gas distribution during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays.

PGN ensures that it will continue to serve 817.000 household customers, 2.845 small customers, 3.334 commercial and industrial customers, as well as electricity generation customers.

The Gas Subholding infrastructure network which includes more than 34,000 km of pipeline networks, 16 SPBG & MRU, and 3 LNG terminals is also confirmed to operate optimally. Thus, natural gas distribution throughout the Gas Group Subholding operation area can run smoothly.

The PGN Nataru Task Force was active from November 13, 2025 to January 11, 2026, and coordinated with the Nataru Oil and Gas Task Force Pertamina and the Joint Command Post of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

PGN's Corporate Secretary, Fajriyah Usman, said that the Gas Subholding prepared various operational security measures, including strengthening the HSSE aspect, so that the customer's natural gas needs could be met properly.

"Our Disturbance Handling Team (TPG) is on standby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, supported by real-time network pressure monitoring and regular patrols in all operational facilities," he said, Friday, November 28.

The distribution of Gas Fuel (BBG) in the Nataru 2025 period is projected to reach 24,500 LSP, or an average increase of around 34 percent compared to the Nataru 2024 period.

"The Task Force Command Post in all operations areas of the Gas Group Subholding is ready to provide the best service for all customers wholeheartedly," he said.

PGN ensures that all infrastructure, starting from pipeline networks, SPBG, LNG terminals, to Contact Center 135 services, fully operates to ensure the smooth running of community activities during the Christmas and New Year periods.
