Google Changes Gemini 3 Pro And Nano Banana Pro Usage Limits For Free Users

JAKARTA Google changed Gemini users' limits for free in accessing Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro. This was done because the two Artificial Intelligence (AI) models experienced a surge in demand.

Since it was first launched, Gemini 3 Pro can be accessed by free users even with restrictions. Users can only apply for five requests per day. This limit is also imposed on the previous generation, namely Gemini 2.5 Pro.

However, in recent days, Google has updated its free user policy of accessing Thinking with 3 Pros. They only get Basic Access guarantees with the warning that the applicable daily limit can change at any time.

This means that the user's daily access limit to Gemini 3 Pro becomes uncertain. The limit may decrease, depending on how much demand the new AI model receives in a day.

Policy for Nano Banana Pro, an AI model for image creation and editing, has also undergone a limit change. From what previously users were able to create three images per day, now they can only create two images per day.

Google also includes special notes for this feature, similar to Gemini 3 Pro. They explain that image creation and editing restrictions can change at any time and will be retuned every day due to high demand.

This change shows that the Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro models are increasingly popular. The reason is, the tech giant has never changed the free user access limit to previous generation AI models.
