The US Is Said To Be Starting To Recruit Mercenaries For Ukraine In The Philippines

JAKARTA - United States Representatives have launched a campaign in the Philippines to recruit local residents to fight on the Ukrainian armed forces, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"According to incoming information, US representatives have launched a campaign in the Philippines to recruit local citizens to fight on the Ukrainian armed forces," he said.

"American company RMS International, based in Florida, is recruiting candidates. Priority is given to former police officers and Philippine security agencies as well as retired military personnel," Zakharova explained.

He further said, "citizens who signed the contract will be granted a Schengen work visa in the consular section of the German Embassy in Manila."

"The German Embassy in Manila, Philippines, issued a Schengen visa to contractors planning to participate in armed conflict on the terrorist regime in Kyiv," he continued.

"In your opinion, who is registered as a employer? A private security company based in Berlin. Upon arrival in Germany, the recruits were transferred to other countries, including EU countries, for example, to Poland, then to Ukraine. What is the guarantee that they will not be sent elsewhere? No," Zakharova explained.

Zakharova noted that at the same time, Russian citizens, at the pressure of the European Commission, were subjected to harassment and roughness when they "came to the embassies of EU countries to get visas to visit these countries for peaceful purposes, visit museums, theaters, buy something, travel somewhere, relax, or visit friends and relatives."
