Cianjur Police Arrest 14 Perpetrators Of Stabbing Cikadu Junior High School Students
JAKARTA - The Cianjur Resort Police, West Java, arrested 14 child perpetrators who allegedly caused a junior high school student in Cikadu District, suffered stab wounds and underwent treatment at the Sindangbarang Hospital.
Head of the Cianjur Police Reskirm AKP Fajri Ameli Putra said after asking for statements from witnesses and victims, his party arrested dozens of child perpetrators who were still in junior high school in Tanggeung District for being involved in street violence.
After an examination, his party received two names who committed acts of violence against the victim and suffered stab wounds to the head, while one other victim suffered minor injuries to the back.
"We received the names of two of the 14 child perpetrators who caused serious injuries to the head and minor injuries to the victim. From the suspect's hands, we secured two pieces of evidence of sharp weapons of the type of sickle," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 27.
His party is still investigating the case in order to reveal the motive for the attack on the victim, so that the perpetrators are entrusted to the Societa Foundation in Warungkondang District, because they are still minors with assistance from related parties.
"The perpetrators are subject to Article 80 of the Child Protection Law number 35 of 2014 with a maximum threat of 5 years in prison," he said.

Previously reported, the Cianjur Resort Police carried out the development of the stabbing case of a student S (14), a resident of Cikadu Village, Cikadu District, who suffered serious head injuries and received treatment at the Sindangbarang Hospital.
Sindangbarang Police Chief AKP Dadang Rustandi, said the victim received stab wounds to the head after being attacked by motorized gangs while crossing Sindangbarang-Cidaun Street, precisely in Mekarlaksana Village, Sindangbarang District.
"While passing by, the victim who was riding with his friend DHM was grabbed by a heavily armed motorist gang from behind who immediately threw a sharp sickle-type weapon at the victim so that it hit the victim's back of the head," he said.
The victim, who was covered in blood, received help from local residents who immediately took the victim and his friend who also suffered minor injuries to the back to Sindangbarang Hospital for medical assistance.
