Contributing Investments Of Up To IDR 207 Trillion, The Drinking Industry Absorbs 15,943 Workers
The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) noted that the beverage industry is the sub-sector with the largest amount of investment among 23 other sub-sectors.
The industry has also absorbed 15,943 workers.
This is based on a report submitted by an industrial company that first produced in January-September 2025 to the Ministry of Industry's National Industrial Information System (SIINAs).
"We see that based on SIINAs, the highest investment value is in the beverage industry, which is Rp207 trillion (with a total of) 784 industries," said Ministry of Industry spokesman Febri Hendri Antoni Arif in the release of the Industrial Trust Index (IKI) November 2025 at the Ministry of Industry Building, Jakarta, Thursday, November 27.
Then, followed by the computer, electronic and optical goods industry with an investment value of IDR 199.50 trillion and the basic metal industry Ro119.1 trillion.
However, said Febri, when viewed from the number of employment, the food industry is the sub-sector with the highest number of absorptions, reaching 44,758 people.
"Meanwhile, in the food industry, there are 4,066 industries that report that they have started production with an investment value of Rp56 trillion. Because the number of new companies that have built the production facilities is large, the number of workers is 44,758 people," he said.
Febri added that the textile industry has also started reporting its production, which is 422 companies.
"This is what reports the production of a new industry, yes, 422 companies with a workforce of 12,809 (people), an investment value of Rp2.67 trillion," he explained.
In addition, continued Febri, the clothing industry has also reported its production during the January-September 2025 period.
"The finished clothing industry that has just reported to us is 309 industrial companies, the investment value is up to IDR 1.198 trillion with employment of 19,810 (people)," explained Febri.

Menurut Febri, industri-industri tersebut akan jadi mesin baru untuk pertumbuhan industri manufaktur ke depan.
"Industri-industri ini ke depan yang kami harapkan menciptakan nilai tambah, meningkatkan PDB sektor industri pengolahan nonmigas dan juga paling penting adalah menyerap tenaga kerja," pungkasnya.

According to Febri, these industries will become new machines for the growth of the manufacturing industry in the future.
"In the future, we hope that these industries will create added value, increase GDP in the non-oil and gas processing sector and also the most important thing is to absorb labor," he concluded.
