Prabowo Gives Flower Vases To Sutera Batik, Queen Maxima Gives Doll Gifts To Bobby Kertanegara

JAKARTA - A warm atmosphere can be seen when President Prabowo Subianto exchanged souvenirs with Queen Mykhaxima after a bilateral meeting at the State Palace, Jakarta, became a symbol of friendship as well as cultural appreciation between Indonesia and the Netherlands.

Prabowo gave three souvenirs, namely flower vassels from the North Coast of Java, hand-made batik Boketan typical of Pekalongan, Central Java with purple nuances with floral motifs, and miniature traditional traditional houses.

"Suvenire ... This is a vas. This is from the north coast of Java," Prabowo said while showing the prize, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 27.

Queen Maxima looked enthusiastic, especially when she saw purple patterned silk cloth which she thought was very beautiful.

"The silk cloth, it's so beautiful. There are lots of souvenirs," said Ratu Maxima.

"Not every day you come," replied Prabowo.

In addition, Prabowo also provided a miniature of the traditional Tongkonan house from Sulawesi, which represents the rich culture and traditions of the people of Toraja, South Sulawesi.

This is from Sulawesi,' Prabowo explained while showing the miniature.

In retaliation, Queen Maxima gave a souvenir in the form of Jimmy Nelson's world photographer's book "Between The Sea & The Sky" which is the iconic bookwriter "Before They Pass Away", as a sign of appreciation and friendship.

Not only that, but Queen Maxima also gave a special gift to Bobby Kertanegara, Prabowo's pet cat in the form of a doll wearing an orange jersey, the color of Dutch pride from the royal family name Wangsa Oranje-Nassau.

"This is for Bobby, the orange one, right, the jersey," said Ratu Maxima.

"He is the most loyal. Thank you," said Prabowo.
