Menteri ATR/BPN Jamin PBB Kota Denpasar Bisa Meningkat Tanpa Naik Tariff, Ini Buktinya

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid guarantees that the Land and Building Tax (PBB) in Denpasar City, Bali Province, can increase without increasing tariffs.

This is inseparable from the Immigration Number for Land Identification (NIB), Tax Object Number (NOP) and Denpasar Population Identification Number (NIK) which was officially launched, Wednesday, November 26.

"The experience of Sragen and Tangerang City, the PBB immediately increased fourfold. Later if you don't believe it, check next year. As soon as the NIB and its NOP in Denpasar are integrated, I guarantee that the UN will increase without increasing the rate," said Nusron, quoted from the official website of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Thursday, November 27.

Nusron believes that this integration will provide direct benefits for local governments (Pemda), especially in optimizing UN revenues.

"For ladies and gentlemen looking for the United Nations, there is no need to increase the Tax Object Selling Value (NJOP). Denpasar's steps are correct, NIK, NIB and NOP are integrated," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Denpasar City Land Office (Kantah), Mulyadi explained, the integration of NIB, NOP and NIK is a step to strengthen data quality, service speed and collaboration between BPN and the Regional Government.

"This integration is part of an effort to increase the integrity of data exchange to make it more optimal. This will have implications for faster services, including validation of Land and Building Rights Obtainment Feasibility (BPHTB) in land registration and data maintenance," he said.

The inaugurated integration could increase local revenue due to reducing BPHTB records errors and minimizing tax value reduction fraud.

According to Mulyadi, integration will make tax data more accurate.

For the community, data integration ensures clarity and transparency in land services.

The public can verify and check data independently through geoportals or the Touch Tanahku application.

"Local governments also have their own portals that people can use to monitor the service process," he explained.

The launch of NIB, NIK and NOP integration in Denpasar is a strategic step in digitizing land services in Bali.

"This integration is expected to accelerate services, increase data accuracy and provide real economic benefits for local governments and the community," he explained.
