Case Of Selling Illegal COVID-19 Vaccine, Gubsu Edy Ensures To Fire ASN Who Became A Suspect
MEDAN - Governor of North Sumatra (Gubsu) Edy Rahmayadi insists the illegal purchase of COVID-19 vaccine by residents in Medan must be accounted for.
For residents who have not received phase two vaccinations despite having purchased vaccines sold illegally, Gubsu Edy said the risk is borne by buyers.
Of the police disclosures, 1,085 people have purchased the COVID-19 vaccine illegally. The illegal practice has been running for two months.
"Why did he pay, ask him why you paid. It's free of charge. You've been vaccinated yet? Pay no? Who paid the wrong one," Gubsu Edy said Monday, May 24.
Gubsu Edy handed over the handling of the legal process to the North Sumatra Police. Meanwhile, ASN who is a suspect in the sale and purchase of COVID-19 vaccine is certainly fired.
"Surely if you have done wrong, it must be wrong. Yes so follow the law applies, which must be ASN fired," he said.
From the audit, the COVID-19 vaccine sold illegally was given to the warden in the prison.
"Audits are conducted at all times. It's abuse of authority, the abuse of the use of vaccines that should be used for wardens in prisons but deflected the warden is not vaccinated so," he said.
Earlier, Chief of Police Sumut, Irjen RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak said the Sinovac vaccine had been sold to 1,085 people.
"The suspects have done their actions to 1,085 people by selling per person for Rp250,000," he said in Mapolda Sumut, Friday, May 21.
There is also a suspect in this case is SW (40) vaccine sales agent obtained from suspect IW doctor in Tanjung Gusta Prison. Meanwhile, the KS suspect who served as a doctor in the Health Office of Sumut Province.
Sw suspects performed their actions in 5 locations, including Jati Residence Housing, Medan City, Cemara Housing, Citra Land Bagya Housing Medan, Medan City and Putri Delta Mas Complex, which is in Jakarta.
Chief of Police Sumut revealed, the result of vaccine sales amounted to Rp271,250,000.
