Mitsubishi Destination Is Now Officially Landing In The Market In The Philippines

JAKARTA - Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation officially launched the latest Destination SUV produced by Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (Bekasi Regency, West Java), and priced at 1,289,000 pesos or around Rp365 million.

The destination is a medium-sized SUV with seven passengers and a spacious three-line layout. Named the Destination in the hope of empowering beloved drivers and families to achieve new destinations with confidence. The destination combines an authentic and elegant SUV design with a spacious premium interior to ensure comfort for all passengers.

MMCC president and CEO Ritsu Imada said over the past few years, the MMCC has continued to achieve strong and stable sales growth.

"The destination is a vehicle that combines the dashing appearance and luxury of the SUV with the flexibility and convenience of the MPV. With the presence of a new Destination, we believe our momentum will continue, and this new model will further strengthen our position in the very competitive SUV segment," he said, quoted from his official website, Wednesday, November 26.

Since its launch in Indonesia in July this year, the Destinator has shown a promising start, with around 12,000 orders in four months exceeding this fiscal year's sales target of 10,000 units.

In specifications, the Mitsubishi Destination is equipped with a 1.5 liter MIFC turbo engine based on the proven 4B40 turbo machine design. It has a water cooled intercooler feature and a high expansion ratio cycle (Atkinson cycle) that allows a combination of high fuel powered acceleration and efficiency.

With a maximum power of 120 kilowatts (kW) and a peak torque of 250 newton meters (Nm), this car offers exciting driving with smooth and responsive acceleration.

This car comes with a premium cabin, with a panoramic Sunroof and 64-color Ambient lighting for premium nuances, besides that the place in the third row comes with a fairly wide space. 12.3-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) and an 8-inch digital driver screen that increases driving comfort, there is also Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium for a fun voice experience.

Mitsubishi Motors plans to introduce the model to Vietnam and other ASEAN countries, as well as South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa, and will eventually launch in around 70 countries.
