Russia launched a wave of attacks on Ukraine on Tuesday, killing six people in an attack that hit city buildings and energy infrastructure. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian attack in southern Russia killed three people and damaged houses.
Reported by the Associated Press, Tuesday, November 25, water, electricity, and heating went out in parts of the capital, Kyiv. Video footage uploaded to Telegram shows a massive fire spreading across a nine-story residential building in the Dniprovskyi district, eastern Kyiv.
Mayor Vitalii Kitschko said two people were killed and five injured in Dniprovskyi and another residential building in central Petersk district were badly damaged.
In the next wave of attacks, four people were killed and three injured in an attack on a non-inhunian building in Soytoshynyi district, western Kyiv, according to the head of the Kyiv city government, Tymor Tkachenko.
Ukraine's Ministry of Energy also stated that energy infrastructure had been affected, without explaining the extent of its damage. Ukraine's emergency services said six people, including two children, were injured in Russian attacks on energy infrastructure and ports in the lecherous region.
Three people were killed and eight others injured in a Ukrainian drone strike on Rostov region, southern Russia, overnight.
"The death toll occurred in the city of Taganrog, not far from the Ukrainian border," said Governor Yuri Slyusar.
The attack damaged private homes and multilevel housing blocks, unnamed social facilities, a warehouse, and a paint shop.
