Presiden Prabowo Memberikan 100 Becak Listrik Bagi Penarik Becak Lansia

JOMBANG, EAST JAVA - President Prabowo Subianto distributed 100 electric rickshaws for elderly rickshaw pullers (elderly) in Jombang Regency, Monday, November 24.

One of the recipients of an electric rickshaw is named Sumardi who is 89 years old. Even though he is elderly, Sumardi is still the backbone of the family, so he must continue to attract rickshaws.

With the electric rickshaw from President Prabowo, Sumardi felt very helped in undergoing his profession as a rickshaw puller. His income as a rickshaw puller is only around Rp. 25 thousand to Rp. 35 thousand per day.

Sumardi hopes that with the presence of an electric rickshaw given by Prabowo, passengers will be more interested in using their services.

Safardhon, an elderly 71-year-old pedicab driver who also received electric rickshaws, also felt grateful.

He was happy because he no longer needed to go shopping at the incline. Safrardhon also appreciated President Prabowo's concern for the elderly rickshaw pullers.
