German Bule's HP IPhone Pro Max Snatched In Kuta Bali
BADUNG - Jambret Trisno Basuki aka Tedi (36) was arrested by Kuta Police, Bali, for snatching the mobile phone of German bule Melina Witzgmann (26).
"The offender admitted to doing his own jambret by riding a black Yamaha N-Max motorcycle," said
Kuta Police Chief Kompol I Nyoman Gatra, Monday, May 24.
The stabbing took place in Jalan Nakula Legian, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali, on Wednesday, May 19, night.
The German bule was riding a motorcycle at the time. Suddenly the perpetrator grabbed and took the victim's cell phone. The mobile phone that is snatched is the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
"Furthermore, it was reported to Kuta Police for further handling," he added.
From the victim's report, police examined a number of witnesses. Mobile phones are also tracked and known to be in Kesiman East Denpasar.
Police also have information that the offender had approached the mobile phone counter asking for the stolen iPhone to be unlocked.
The perpetrator was then detected and arrested in Kesiman East Denpasar. The perpetrator claimed to have snatched five times.
"The perpetrators and evidence are secured in Kuta Police Station," said Kompol Gatra.
