Supreme Court Rejects Mario Dandy's Cassation In Case Of Ex-Girlfriend Obscenity

JAKARTA - The Supreme Court (MA) officially rejected the cassation filed by Mario Dandy Satriyo regarding the molestation case against his ex-girlfriend AG. The verdict ensures that the sentence imposed at the first level must still be served.

According to information from the official MA website on Monday, November 24, the case numbered 10825 K/PID.SUS/2025 was decided by the panel of judges led by Dwiarso Budi Santiarto, with Yanto and Achmad Setyo Pudjoharsoyo members.

In the previous verdict, Mario was found guilty of committing acts of obscenity against AG and sentenced to two years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, provided that a subsidiary of two months in prison. The proposed cassation is intended to reduce or cancel the verdict.

However, the Supreme Court panel of judges rejected all of Mario's arguments, so that the previous court's decision still applies.

The AG molestation case is not the only case that happened to Mario Dandy. The son of former tax official Rafael Alun Trisambodo has previously been sentenced to 12 years in prison for severe abuse of David Ozora. This brutal incident became one of the most arresting cases of public attention in 2023 because it was carried out in sadistic, recorded, and widely circulated on social media.

In the case of the persecution, Mario was also required to pay a restitution of Rp 25.1 billion, making it one of the highest restitutional values in cases of persecution in Indonesia.
