BWF World Tour Finals 2025: Indonesia No Representatives In Women's Doubles
JAKARTA The Indonesian women's doubles sector certainly does not have representatives in the 2025 BWF World Tour Finals which will take place in the middle of next month in Hangzhou, China.
The BWF World Tour Finals is scheduled to take place on 17 December 21, 2025 at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium. Indonesia sent five representatives to the event which only involved the top players.
Indonesia managed to add two tickets to the tournament after the men's doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and the mixed doubles Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu were able to reach the Australian Open 2025 final last week.
Three representatives before those who had already secured tickets there were Putri Kusuma Wardani, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, and Jonatan Christie.

From the men's doubles sector, Sabar/Reza and Fajar/Fikri will compete with world number one Kim Won-ho/Seo Seung (South Korea) and world number two Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik (Malaysia).
The other four couples from this sector are Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty (India), Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun (Malaysia), Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang (China), and Chiu Hsiang-chieh/Wang/Wang Chi-lin (China Taipei).
Jonatan Christie in the men's singles is likely to fight names such as Li Shifeng (China), Anders Antonsen (Denmark), Shi Yuqi (China), Chou Tien Chen (China Taipei), Christo Popov (France), Kodai Naraoka (Japan), and Kunlavut Vitidsarn (Thailand).
In the women's singles sector, Putri could have met An Se-young (South Korea), Wang Zhiyi (China) Han Yue (China), Akane Yamaguchi (Japan), Pornpawee Chochuwong (Thailand), Ratchanok Intanon (Thailand), and Tomoka Miyazaki (Japan).
Furthermore, in mixed doubles, pairs from other countries who qualified there with Jafar/Felisha were Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran (Thailand) and Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping (China).
Then there are Jiang Zhenbang/Wei Yaxin (China), Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei (Malaysia), Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Jemie Lai (Malaysia), Thom Gicquel/Delphine Delrue (France), and Hiroki Midorikawa/Natsu Saito (Japan).
The draw for the group stage for the BWF World Tour Finals 2025 is scheduled to take place on December 13, 2025 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Hangzhou.
