Overcome AI Fraud Starting From Small Things

Apart from his company, Irfan reminded the public to participate in preventing fraud or fraud that utilizes AI. Users can start small things by not being tempted by any links, either links on behalf of gifts or warnings.

"If we get an offer message that uses a link, we need to see if this is genuine. See if the email domain is in accordance with the original website domain and whether the data sent comes from the original application," explained Irfan.

Another preventive example is not to click on a link from a WhatsApp account that doesn't have a blue tick yet. Digital banking users are also asked not to provide any OTP code if someone asks by phone.

"We must verify, we must be critical in receiving the information provided. So, channels, content, and confirmation (this is very important to pay attention to," said Irfan.
