Immigration Banks Involvement Of 'Insider' Related To SDUWHV Registration
JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections dismissed reports that the alleged system for providing a Support Letter for Work and Holiday Visa (SDUWHV) on a day digital fighter scheme through immigration sites was manipulated by "insiders" to prospective workers.
"So, everything is enforced by a (digital) system, no longer by the people we previously got, there is an insider game," said Director of Immigration Information Technology at the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections Chicco Ahmad Muttaqin in a hearing (RDP) with Commission XIII DPR reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 24.
The suspicion of participants who are members of representatives of the DemoSDUWHV movement, according to Chicco, emerged when the system experienced a downturn because the trafficcloudGoogle soared high to 1.4 million users so that the remaining selection quota did not appear on each participant's dashboard.
"But because the strength of Google's server at that time was attacked, not all SDUWHV participants could see the dashboard that occurred. Usually, in 2024 it can be seen, it's just that much, it's just that much," he said.
In addition, there are allegations of random emailing for registration on October 15 and October 17.
Chicco said that the email was not random, because the participants who received the email were participants who had entered the quota limit of 5,000 people who could not verify the second stage.
"Finally, the participants who have entered the 5,000, cannot also proceed with the second verification. Finally, we gave them a special link. So, it's not because we randomly or we don't play lottery, but we protect the legal certainty rights for the first 5,000," he said.
On the other hand, said Chicco, there were participants who did not receive an email even though they received confirmation that an email had been sent, contingency plans or special plans to follow up on the complaint.
On the same occasion, Plt. Director General of Immigration Yuldi Yusman as well as Director of Immigration Supervision and Enforcement explained that the email scheme was carried out after participants were in the stage of waiting for the room to be monitored.
He also explained that emailing is also not from the act of selecting participants as long as they can be passed into the system.
"Do not choose who will be sent an email, but based on the 5,000 that have been entered into our data. What is the term? It has been entered into the waiting room," he explained.

Not all participants, according to Yuldi, will be summoned after entering the 5,500 quota of participants. He revealed that some time ago there were 38 applications that did not pass when verifying files.
"So, not all of them were sent the email, then they submitted their documents or files to the ACC with us. There were 38 applications (files, ed) that were canceled," he said.
Therefore, Yuldi straightened out the disturbance during registration of SDUWHV purely due to the lack of optimal digital infrastructure that the Immigration Department uses, not an immigration case.
"We need to straighten out that the problem of registering SDUWHV is purely caused by infrastructure technical problems. The link was that there was a member of Commission XIII who said there were indications of insiders' games. I am not the chairman of the committee, the chairman of the committee is the Director of Visa and Travel Documents (Eko Budianto) and I am the Acting Director General of Immigration as the person in charge. I am brave and willing to receive information so that there is no slander," he said.
