JAKARTA - Head of the Cirebon City Police Satreskrim AKP Adam Gana admitted that he was committed to thoroughly investigating the alleged molestation case against a underage boy which was reported to have occurred in June 2025.

According to him, the case was only reported on August 6, 2025, or about two months after the alleged sexual abuse took place.

He said the alleged incident began when the victim invited an adult man to stay in his grandmother's boarding house.

From the victim's statement, he said, it was suspected that the sexual abuse took place at that time, but the victim did not immediately tell anyone.

Adam said the victim's parents only found out about the incident in July 2025 after the victim finally conveyed what he had experienced.

After receiving the explanation, the victim's parents then encouraged their child to make a police report, "he said in Cirebon, Monday, was confiscated by Antara.

He said that when reporting was carried out, visum et repertum could not be carried out because the time of the incident had passed long enough so that physical examinations were not possible.

However, he said, investigators had taken a number of steps to strengthen the investigation, including examining four witnesses consisting of the victim, the victim's parents, a friend of the victim, and the psychologist.

According to him, investigators also submitted a request for forensic psychological examination to the Cirebon City DP3AKB on September 22, 2025 to explore the psychological condition of the victim after the incident.

He conveyed the forensic psychological examination, which was then carried out on October 14, 2025, but until now the results have not been received by investigators.

"The results of the forensic psychological examination have not been submitted to us. We are still waiting for this," he said.

He emphasized that the results were important, to complete the investigation file before the case entered the next stage.

The Cirebon City Police, said Adam, have prepared a number of follow-up plans such as coordinating again with the DP3AKB to accelerate the results of the examination.

He ensured that after all the results and statements were received, investigators would hold a case to determine the next handling steps.
