Prabowo Gathers Law Enforcers In Hambalang, Focuses On Handling Forest Additions
BOGOR - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with a number of members of the Red and White Cabinet to discuss strategic issues related to the discussion of controlling and enforcing the law in the forest sector to mining at the Garuda Yaksa Padepokan, Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, Sunday, November 23.
The meeting discussed several important points regarding the results of work and follow-up plans from the Forest Area Control Task Force, control of mining areas, legal consequences for violations and illegal activities in the forestry and mining sectors as well as handling a number of illegal areas that were previously difficult to reach by the authorities for further action.
In a statement on the official Cabinet Secretary's account, Prabowo firmly explained that his commitment to carrying out the mandate of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution which reads Earth and water and natural wealth contained therein are controlled by the state and used for the greatest prosperity of the people,
