Viral Confiscated Cars Used By Police Families, Claims Of Propam Children Denied By Polda
JAKARTA - A video recording of the use of car evidence was confiscated viral on social media. Initially, the video was uploaded to the Indo Instagram Feed gram account, Sunday, November 23, 2025.
In the amateur video footage, it is known that the police family suspected of falsifying car number plates is evidence deposited in the Sector Police.
The car, which is evidence, was also seen being taken for a walk at a mall in the Bogor area, West Java.
This incident went viral after a video of a person suspected of being a debt collector came to a man in a black shirt in the mall parking area in Bogor.
A number of people suspected of being debt collectors had asked about the car.
"I want to check if you want to stay at home," said one of the mall security officers.
Then answered by a man in a black shirt who is suspected to be the son of a police officer.
"It's okay, sir, it's okay," he said.
Furthermore, the man in a black shirt said that he had a letter from the police stating that the car could be borrowed by his family.
The man even said that his father was a member of Propam at Polda Metro Jaya.
Responding to the viral video, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto confirmed the video.
"Propam has investigated the video. And it is not true (that) the parents concerned are serving in the Propam Polda Metro Jaya," said Kombes Budi when confirmed, Sunday, November 23.
Meanwhile, regarding the confession of the man in a black shirt who claimed to be the son of the police, Polda Metro Jaya will extinguish the fire.
"We are still exploring what the meaning of the statement is (reporting to the police child)," he said.
