Gemini's New Interactive Image Turns Diagram Into A Deep Learning Tool
JAKARTA - Google is again improving Gemini's capabilities by presenting a new feature in the form of interactive images, designed to help users understand academic concepts more deeply and intuitively.
In many fields of education, text and images are often not enough to explain the complex concept. Google wants to overcome this problem through this new feature, which allows Gemini to create labelled images that can be tapped to display additional explanations.
Google explains that users will soon be able to generate diagrams that have click/tap labels on various parts of the image. Once the label is clicked, an interactive side panel will appear that contains other definitions, explanations, and supporting materials regarding these elements.

In Google demonstrations, Gemini created a complete plant cell diagram with various labelled organs. Users can tap on each label for example nuclei or chloroplas to open a panel containing detailed explanations of its functions and structures.
This feature is postulated primarily for academic learning:
Biology (cell diagram, anatomy)
Physics (mechanical system diagram)
Chemical (molecule structure)
Geographic (interactive map)
and various other educational materials
Google also mentions that users can ask further questions, so the learning process can take place more dynamically and personally.
With this capability, Gemini is not only a tool to answer questions, but also provides visual content that can be actively explored something that is very helpful for students and educators.
This feature is rolling out in stages and will be available to users in the near future.
