JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait invited residents of Bekasi Regency, West Java, to take advantage of housing credit programs, namely Housing Financing Liquidity Facilities (FLPP) and People's Business Credit (KUR) Housing.
"Come on, give it a chance, that's why it's a good program, bureaucrats must be clearer, explain to the people quickly so they can enjoy the Housing KUR from Pak Prabowo. There's never been this, just this once," said Ara, quoted by Antara.
He said this program is important for the community so that they no longer depend on moneylenders who always apply burdensome schemes.
According to him, this socialization is also the opening door for the public to make the best use of the program, including obtaining information related to loan ceilings, durations, interest and application requirements.
"We as bureaucrats must be fast, master problems, if people ask questions, what interest, how much money is the maximum, how long is the time, what are the conditions. Let's move fast, you know. We continue, we continue, the important thing is that this program continues, take advantage of this, so that people don't have to go to moneylenders anymore, this interest is only six percent, even though if it's moneylenders, right?," he said.
On this occasion, he also interacted directly with representatives of various business sectors including 196 MSME actors, 38 contractors, 56 housing developers, 60 online motorcycle taxi drivers to 22 building shop entrepreneurs.
They were also met directly with banks from Bank BRI and BJB. This socialization was also attended by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman, Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang and Bekasi Deputy Regent Asep Surya Atmaja.
Deputy Regent of Bekasi Asep Surya Atmaja welcomed the program as a solution to prevent people from being caught in online loans or moneylenders.
He called the Housing KUR a strategic step to help people get more humane financing.
"Because now we are trying to avoid people from borrowing, moneylenders and KUR programs are the most appropriate," he said.
Asep explained that for MSME players, this program is very helpful in accessing capital without collateral. The government ensures that loan facilities below Rp. 100 million can be accessed easily.
"For MSME players, this program can help capital loans for loan value below Rp. 100 million without having to be guaranteed," he said.
Head of the Bekasi Regency Public Housing, Settlement and Land Office, Nur Chaidir, ensured the support of local governments to accelerate access to financing through KUR and FLPP.
"This panel discussion is carried out to explain program schemes to the community and business actors in the context of accelerating residents who want to own a house or for businesses related to banking services," he said.

The Bekasi Regency Government has also exempted a number of licensing costs as a form of support to reduce the selling price of subsidized houses. This policy is considered effective in increasing public affordability to livable houses.
"The first role was that we have freed PBG for housing, our BPHTB has also been freed so that the absence of PBG and BPHTB can reduce the value of sales," he said.
This program is prioritized for people who already have businesses or housing financing needs such as MSME players, contractors, online motorcycle taxi drivers to construction service developers and building shop entrepreneurs.
He invited the public to take advantage of government facilities through government banks with low interest rates and without guarantees. "So this is specifically for those who have tried because there must be a place of business or place to live," he said.
