Golden Rama Holds Extra 2025, Highlights Shifts In Tourism Trends And Increases Demand For Premium Travel
JAKARTA - The Golden Rama Tours & Travel again held an Extra Experience Travel 2025 tour exhibition on November 21, 2025 in five major cities.
Entering its third year, this event is said to be a strong indicator of shifting the preferences of Indonesian tourists towards a more drainy, personal, and added-valued trip.
Carrying the theme 'Because You Are Extra', Golden Rama assesses that this exhibition is not only a sale of tour packages, but also a means of reading the direction of the 2026 market.
President Director of Golden Rama Tours & Travel, Madu Sudono, said tourists are now increasingly selective and aware of value.
Indonesian tourists are more looking for authentic experiences and local uniqueness. Extra is a place to understand how global trends are moving and how travel can be designed more personally," said Madu.
Golden Rama mencatat empat tren utama yang menguat pada 20252026. Pertama, permintaan aktentik meningkat signifikan, terutama wisata kuliner, art, budaya, dan wellness retreat.
Second, group travel packages are back on, especially to Europe, Korea, China, and Russia.
Third, the cruise travel segment is soaring, driven by families and couples who want a slow travel experience. Fourth, premium travel demand grows with the support of bank rewards, installment programs, and travel vouchers.
GM Communication & CRM Golden Rama, Ricky Hilton, assessed that this change signifies the matureness of the segmentation of Indonesian tourists.
"Inat pada winter travel, kapal cruise, hingga itinerari multi-negara menunjukkan traveler semakin terinformasi dan ingin perjalanan yang benar-benar dirasi," kata Ricky.

Citing the Skyscanner Travel Trends 2026 report, global tourism shows strong momentum.
As many as 84 percent of global tourists plan to travel the same or more than the previous year.
Golden Rama is optimistic that curation-based and premium tourism demand will be one of the drivers of travel industry growth in 2026, as the travel frequency of the middle and upper class increases.
