DFSK Presents New Variant For Gelora E At Affordable Prices At GJAW, Suitable For Business Actors

JAKARTA - Indonesia's largest automotive exhibition at the end of the year, namely Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2025, has become an event for various manufacturers to showcase its latest innovations, including PT Sokoindo Automobile, as the company that houses the DFSK brand and SERES in Indonesia.

In this event, the CEO of PT Sokoindo Automobile Alexander Barus, said that mobility is not only a matter of moving from one location to another, but rather a foundation for productivity, efficiency, and sustainability of business operations.

"DFSK confirms that all innovations brought to the Indonesian market are designed to provide real value for business actors," he said, during a press conference, at ICE BSD, Friday, November 21.

The big momentum in the 2025 GJAW was marked by the introduction of the latest variant of the more affordable DFSK Gelora E, which was marketed in Jakarta at an OTR price of IDR 248 million.

The presence of this variant allows more and more business actors to benefit from the efficiency of the electric fleet. This initiative is part of DFSK's strategy to expand access to electric vehicle technology and accelerate its adoption in the commercial sector," said Head of Sales & Marketing Doni Putra Okten.

As part of this event, PT Sokoindo Automobile introduced the latest variant of DFSK Gelora E B-Type, which has a dimensions of 4.5 meters long, 1.6 meters wide, and 2 meters high.

This Blind Van type is specially designed for business actors who need electric vehicles to transport goods, with cargo lengths of up to 2.5 meters and a maximum volume of 4.8 cubic meters.

The performance of DFSK Gelora E B-Type has been designed according to the needs of business actors in Indonesia. Equipped with a battery with a capacity of 38 kWh, this vehicle is able to cover a distance of up to 268 kilometers in one charge using CCS2 with an ability of 80 minutes of electric charging from 20 to 80 percent, and a standard with a duration of 3.5 hours of 20 to 80 percent.

DFSK Gelora E B-Type has also been equipped with various security systems, including battery protection and an IP67 standard EV electricity system. In addition, the braking system already uses the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) to improve control and safety while driving.
