6 Fishermen Have Not Been Found, Ships Lost Contact In Pasaman Waters
SIMPANG FOUR - Pasaman National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), West Sumatra sent a team and a number of personnel looking for victims of fishing boats who lost contact in the waters of Pangkal Air Bangis Island, Sungai Beremas District, Friday, November 21.
The coordinator of the Pasaman SAR Post (OSC) Novi Yurandi, said a number of personnel had gone down to the location.
"The initial information that we obtained was that the fishing boat type had lost contact on Thursday (20/11) at 09.00 WIB," Novi said, quoted by Antara, Friday, November 21.
From temporary data, he said, the ship carried six fishermen. The data on the victim on board is a resident of Air Bangis, namely Zulfikar (52), Akmal Dauri (40), Mario (36), Andika Putra (26). Meanwhile, two more victims are still being collected.
According to him, the incident began on Thursday (20/11) at 06.30 WIB, a prime fishing boat with six passengers departed from Tanahmasa Island, Nias to Air Bangis, West Pasaman Regency.
It is estimated that it will arrive at Air Bangis at 12.00 WIB, but the ship did not arrive and the last contact was at 09.00 WIB.
"On Friday (21/11) at around 06.30 WIB we headed to the location by ship RIB 03 with six officers," he said.
