Tax Revenue Until October 2025 Only Reached 70.2 Percent

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reported that tax revenues until October 2025 reached IDR 1,459 trillion or 70.2 percent of the year-end target of IDR 2,076.9 trillion.

This realization decreased by 3.8 percent compared to the same period last year which reached IDR 1,517.5 trillion.

"Netotically, until the end of October, Rp1,459.03 trillion has been collected, this is still below last year's Rp1,517.54 trillion," said Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara in a press conference on the KITA State Budget, Thursday, November 20.

Most types of taxes have decreased. The corporate income tax has only reached Rp237.56 trillion, down 9.6 percent compared to the previous year. PPh Pribadi and PPh 21 also weakened, only collecting Rp191.66 trillion, or a decrease of 12.8 percent. Meanwhile, Final Income Tax, PPh 22, and PPh 26 collected Rp275.57 trillion, barely changed with a slight decrease of 0.1 percent.

For VAT and PPnBM, the realization reached Rp556.61 trillion, down 10.3 percent. The other tax groups actually recorded a significant increase of 42.3 percent with a realization of Rp197.61 trillion.

"VAT, PPnBM is quite high, meaning that the restitution is quite high here," he said.

Overall, total state revenues until October 31, 2025 reached IDR 2,113.3 trillion or 73.7 percent of projections.

The income consists of tax revenues of Rp1,459 trillion (70.2 percent of the target), customs and excise revenues of Rp249.3 trillion (80.3 percent), and non-tax state revenues (PNBP) of Rp402.4 trillion (84.3 percent).
